Senior Consultant – Process Engineering and Heat Transfer
Mr. Shamandy has about 19 years of Process Engineering and Heat Transfer experience on multi discipline projects within the Oil and Gas, Gas processing Refinery and Petrochemical industries. The versatile professional exposure includes Conceptual Design, Design Basis, FEED and Detail design to execution of large scale international projects.
He is utilizing his experience in Oil &Gas Project engineering with process Heat Transfer background to assist the goals of the business unit. He has the ability to work efficiently and positively with different organizations to achieve the strategy and to meet the targets.
He has been employed for Abu Dhabi Gas Industries Ltd., GASCO, Consolidated Contractors International Company, CCIC and ENPPI.
His roles were Heat Transfer Designer and group leader to support the engineering team of new projects and support existing plants to solve operation trouble shooting and involving in on-going projects. His role included execution of safe and sustainable design and applying the proper application of design codes and procedures.
He utilizes his experience Oil &Gas Project engineering with process engineering and heat transfer background to assists the goals of the business unit and execute corporate projects.
Key activities include:
Supporting project execution during conceptual, FEED and EPC stages to meet changing demands and engineering requirements associated with plant and facilities projects.
Evaluate and review all process design aspects for reliability, fit-for-service, safety, maintainability (e.g. Heat Exchanger design and rating, pump reliability and service calculations, equipment sizing, plant and equipment performance test, fired equipment optimization, hydraulic analysis of piping and equipment.
Supporting existing facilities for required modifications and studies to implement plant change requests.
