Operator Training Simulator From Fidelity To Reality Paper - May 9-10, 2018
PetroDIAC gladly presented its Technical Paper during the RDPETRO Conference which was held in Abu Dhabi during May 9-10, 2018. The technical committee selected PetroDIAC paper “Operator Training Simulators From Fidelity to Reality” as Speaker Presentation after thorough evaluation. The paper have been presented by PetroDIAC team Dr. Ad Vos and Mr. Mohammed Alenany which was well received by the session audience.
PetroDIAC, presented and advocated an integrated approach for operator training involving both the control room personnel and field operators. Presented and explained the work being done on immersive training simulators which provides multidimensional training with realistic immersive visualization and simulation. This enhances the ability of the operators to get trained in a highly realistic environment with geographically separated teams. It was further explained that such approaches in training simulators would achieve more coordinated corrective action between field and control room operator as well as providing an opportunity to conduct globally distributed classrooms.
Thanks to the Conference organization team and the leading oil and gas partners for their support during the event. PetroDIAC will definitely be part of future RDPETRO conferences and exhibitions.
RDPETRO 2018 Conference and Exhibition - May 9-10, 2018
PetroDIAC gladly been selected to participate in the RDPETRO Conference as Technical Committee member represented by Mr. Mohammed Alenany.
Held since 2012 as ADRAC (Abu Dhabi Research and Development Conference and Exhibition) it was recognized in the 2015 edition as the biggest oil and gas conference and exhibition in the World fully dedicated to Research and Development.
Now renamed RDPETRO, the event aims to take its place on the global stage. Innovators from across universities, research centers, service providers and tech start-ups from oil and gas and other industries will meet national and international oil companies from across the world. The conference was sponsored by ADNOC and many of ADNOC international partners.
Our ambition is to develop closer collaboration across the energy industry and beyond, sourcing innovative solutions and technologies to unlock, produce and optimize oil and gas resources in a value-adding and ever-safer way.
PetroDIAC participated in the technical abstracts evaluation and selection of the top ones for the Process Control and Asset Optimization sessions, Mr. Alenany co-chaired the technical session during the event together with Mr. Suresh Kumar from ADNOC Gas Processing.

SPE Conference - April 16-18, 2018
PetroDIAC gladly been selected to participate in the SPE International Conference and Exhibition on Health, Safety, Security, Environment, and Social Responsibility as Technical Committee member represented by Mr. Mohammed Alenany.
This Conference and Exhibition is the oil and gas industry’s premier global event highlighting best practices and challenges. This biennial conference has brought together experts from all over the world to share new ideas, process improvements, technological advancements, and innovative applications to enhance HSE performance for over 25 years. It provides a neutral forum where a wide range of perspectives and concerns from a variety of stakeholders can be explored.
The event typically attracts more than 1,500 health, safety, security, environment, and social responsibility leaders and professionals working in the international oil and gas sector. The event components which were included in this rich programme were:

PetroDIAC Sponsored and Participated in the Global Energy Forum - Oil and Gas Summit - January, 2018
PetroDIAC sponsored the Global Energy Forum – Oil and Gas summit held in Dubai in January 2018 while presenting with a paper and case study titled “Operational Excellence Gap Assessment – A need for Manufacturing Operations Management Solution”.
The paper was presented by PetroDIAC Managing Director, Mr. Mohammed Alenany and major contribution by our Principal Consultants, Dr. Ad Vos and Ms. G Tartara.
